The Shattered Self is a psychological sculpture about the hidden emotions, inner conflicts, and different sides of a person that can exist behind a calm exterior.

The central figure appears composed and almost emotionless, but the fractured surface reveals something very different. From beneath the cracks emerge other faces — some silent, some distressed, some seemingly crying out.

These faces represent the emotions and thoughts that are often hidden from the outside world. Fear, anger, vulnerability, pressure, memories, and unspoken feelings can all exist within the same person.

The cracks are not simply signs of destruction. They reveal what was already there beneath the surface.

The sculpture asks a simple question: how much of ourselves do we hide in order to appear whole?

3. Choose a suitable printing orientation.
4. Add or adjust supports where necessary.
5. Use exposure settings recommended for your specific printer and resin.
6. Carefully preview the sliced model before starting the print.

After printing:

1. Wash the printed model according to the resin manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Carefully remove the supports.
3. Cure the print according to the recommended curing time for your resin.
4. Clean and refine any visible support marks if necessary.
5. Prime and paint the sculpture according to your preferred artistic style.

Because the sculpture contains fine facial details, deep cracks, and multiple expressive elements, careful support placement is recommended to preserve the details during printing.

Printing results may vary depending on the photopolymer printer, resin, exposure settings, orientation, supports, and post-processing.
